What You Missed at Wonder-Con!

Hey ya’ll!  If you’re like me, you love comic conventions: like Wonder Con!  And if you’re like me, you probably missed your chance to go.  Hey, San Francisco’s like eight hours away!  Plus, I’m totally blaming health care reform for this.  BUT that doesn’t mean you have to be left in the dark.  Here are some quick blurbs on things you may have missed:

IDW Publishing finally unveiled the cover for their first issue of “Famous Monsters of Filmland” magazine, featuring an amazing image of Nosferatu by Richard Corben.  They also announced that William Stout will be providing a variant cover as well!

Several TV panels were held, featuring “Human Target” stars Jackie Earle Haley and Mark Valley, as well as “Chuck” leads Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez, chatting it up with fans and giving out the little information that they could about their upcoming seasons.

DC Direct previewed the next two “Blackest Night” exclusive action figures that were released (and sold out) at last year’s San Diego Comic Con.  The next two figures are: Black Lantern Hal Jordan and White Lantern Sinestro (SPOIIILLLLER ALERT!)

Chris Evans, who recently snagged the role of Captain America, stammered through some questions about the new movie at a “Losers” panel.  While giving no real information whatsoever, he did reassure everyone that the story is character driven and solid.

Phew!   Wish I could have been there!  Well, don’t fret none if you feel left out: San Diego Comic Con’s right around the corner!

..what’s that? It’s sold out?  Sorry losers…I got my tickets MONTHS ago!!  See you there! Oh wait, no I won’t! BWAHAHAHA!!
